Services Specifically Excluded <br />The following equipment items and services are specifically excluded from this <br />Agreement and may be available on a time and materials basis. <br />Antennas - Base station antennas and coaxial cable at all sites. <br />Telephone headsets. <br />System relocation or design changes. <br />Installation of new equipment. <br />Batteries. <br />Additionally, neither parts nor labor will be provided without additional charge to correct <br />malfunctions or damage for problems caused by natural or manmade disaster such as <br />flood, earthquake or fire. Labor and materials to repair damage to equipment caused by <br />variation in electrical power quality from PG&E or emergency generators is excluded. <br />It is understood that Consultant may determine that a particular piece of equipment is <br />beyond economic repair due to age or condition. If this occurs, the equipment item will no <br />longer be eligible for maintenance under this Agreement. <br />4. Cost and fees <br />Beginning on July 1, 2025, Consultant shall be paid for maintenance and repair services <br />at the flat annual rate of $65,184, paid in monthly installments in the amount of $5,432 as <br />itemized below. <br />For additional work beyond that specifically described below, Consultant shall be paid <br />based on the hourly rates set forth below for a not-to-exceed amount of $10,000 per fiscal <br />year. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.245/Telecommunications Engineering Associates (Page 12 of 14) <br />8.D. - Page 15 of 17 <br />322
