Liquid asphalt for prime coat shall be Grade SS1 conforming to the <br />requirements of Section 94-1.02B, Slow-Setting Anionic Asphaltic Emulsions of <br />the State Standard Specifications. <br />D. Asphaltic emulsion for tack coat (paint binder) shall be emulsified asphalt, Type <br />SS1h conforming to the requirements of Section 94-1.02B, Slow-Setting <br />Anionic Asphaltic Emulsions of the State Standard Specifications. <br />E. Suppliers certification showing conformance to these specifications shall be <br />delivered with each shipment of materials to the job site. <br />F. Up to 25% of the aggregate blend may be substituted with reclaimed asphalt <br />pavement (RAP) pursuant to Section 39-2.02B(5) of the State Standard <br />Specifications. <br />2.04 GEOSYNTHETIC MATERIALS <br />A. Geosynthetic materials, if required by the plans, shall conform to Section 96, <br />Geosynthetics of the State Standard Specifications. <br />B. Placing geosynthetic materials for aggregate subbase if required should follow <br />Section 25-1.03C of State Standard Specifications. <br />C. Placing geosynthetic materials for aggregate base if required should follow <br />Section 26-1.03C of State Standard Specifications. <br />PART 3 – EXECUTION <br />3.01 AGGREGATE SUBBASE <br />A. Subbase material shall be spread and compacted in conformance with the <br />requirements of Section 25-1.03D and 1.03E of the State Standard <br />Specifications. <br />B.
