Page 1 of 4 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />DATE: December 8, 2025 <br />SUBJECT <br />Approve Transportation Advisory Committee Work Plan for Fiscal Years 2025-26 and 2026-27 <br />SUMMARY <br />The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) Work Plan for Fiscal Years 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 <br />identifies the Committee’s focus areas and priorities that align with the City Council’s Strategic Plan, <br />particularly the Transportation Strategic Priority, and supports continued progress toward safe, equitable, <br />and accessible transportation in Redwood City. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve Transportation Advisory Committee Work Plan for Fiscal Years 2025-26 and 2026- <br />27. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council has directed each City Board, Commission, and Committee (BCC) to prepare a two-year <br />work plan for the City Council’s review and approval. The purpose of the work plan is to align BCC efforts <br />with the City Council’s Strategic Plan, which includes Equity as a foundational guiding principle and sets <br />Housing, Transportation, and Children and Youth as Strategic Priorities. Work plans are prepared by BCC <br />members and presented to the City Council for approval. The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) <br />discussed the work plan at their September 9, 2025 meeting, created an ad hoc subcommittee to refine <br />8.A. - Page 1 of 14 <br />228
