<br />Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />Stormwater Treatment Requirements <br />Permanent Stormwater Quality Measures <br />1. Sites with over 10,000 square feet of created or replaced impervious surface (5,000 square feet for auto- <br />oriented developments): <br />a. Complete the C.3 and C.6 Development Review Checklist, Attachment R1. <br />b. Provide permanent stormwater quality control measures, designed and sized per the <br />requirements of section C.3 of NPDES permit No. CAS612008 or the latest update of this permit. <br />c. Enter into a Stormwater Treatment Measures Maintenance Agreement with the City <br />2. Sites with less than 10,000 square feet of created or replaced impervious surface (5,000 square feet for <br />auto-oriented developments): <br />a. Check the City’s GI Development Guidelines to determine if the project is required to implement <br />permanent stormwater quality control measures. If so, complete items 1a-1c above. If not, <br />complete items 2b-2c. <br />b. Complete the Stormwater Checklist for Small Projects, Attachment R2 <br />c. Provide site design measures in their project. Acceptable site design measures include <br />measures a-f on Attachment R2. <br /> <br />Stormwater Quality Measures During Construction <br />1. All sites are required to comply with section C.6 of the NPDES permit by implementing construction Best <br />Management Practices (BMP) with best technology available to control runoff during construction. (See <br />“Blueprint for a Clean Bay” on the www.flowstobay.org website.) In addition, the following sites have <br />additional requirements: <br />2. Sites over 1 acre of land disturbance: <br />a. File a “Notice of Intent” with the RWQCB and obtain a Construction General Permit (CGP). <br />b. A SWPPP must be prepared by a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) and implemented by a <br />Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP). <br />c. Monthly Inspections will be conducted by the City from October through April. <br />3. Sites in High Priority Areas – hillsides sites, sites adjacent to creeks, and downtown sites. <br />a.
