ATTY/RESO.0124/CC RESO ACCEPTING THE DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 REV: 12-05-25 MI Page 1 of 2 RESOLUTION NO. 16380 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ACCEPTING THE DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 AND MAKING FINDINGS AS REQUIRED BY THE MITIGATION FEE ACT WHEREAS, Government Code section 66006 requires the City to make certain information available to the public regarding development impact fees; and WHEREAS, Government Code section 66001(d) requires the City to make certain findings regarding unexpended development impact fee revenues every five years; and WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed that certain report entitled “Development Impact Fees Report For Fiscal Year 2024-25” (“Fees Report”), which contains the information required by Government Code Section 66006 and findings regarding unexpended development impact fee funds as required by Government Code section 66001(d); and WHEREAS, the Fees Report was made available to the public, and notice of the time and place of this meeting was provided, pursuant to Government Code section 66006(b)(2); and WHEREAS, Government Code section 66013(d) requires the City to make certain information available to the public regarding its water and wastewater capacity and connection fee accounts; and WHEREAS, the Fees Report contains the information required by, and was made available to the public in accordance with, Government Code section 66013(d); and WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the Fees Report at the next regularly scheduled public meeting, not less than 15 days after the Fees Report was made available to the public. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1.The City Council hereby accepts the Fees Report, which is attached to the Staff Report as Attachment A and is incorporated herein by reference. 2.The City Council hereby finds with respect to any unexpended development impact fee funds, that the Fees Report identifies the purpose to which the fees are to be put, demonstrates a reasonable relationship between the fee and the purpose for which it is charged, identifies all sources and amounts of funding anticipated to complete financing identified incomplete improvements, and designates the approximate dates on which the funding is expected to be deposited into the appropriate account or fund.
