ATTY/RESO.0129/CC RESO AMENDING CLASSIFICATION AND WAGE AND SALARY PLAN (EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT) <br />REV: 12-17-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16386 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING THE CITY’S CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY AND <br />WAGE PLAN TO UPDATE SALARY RANGES FOR EXECUTIVE <br />MANAGEMENT AND APPOINTED CLASSIFICATIONS CONSISTENT <br />WITH PRIOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION AND AMENDING THE SUMMARY <br />OF COMPENSATION AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THE <br />EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEE GROUP TO CLARIFY <br />RELOCATION ASSISTANCE BENEFITS AND AMEND HOLIDAY <br />BENEFITS EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 22, 2025 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council previously approved a 3% cost-of-living adjustment <br />effective December 1, 2025, for appointed and Executive Management classifications; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends the Summary of Compensation and Terms of <br />Employment for the Executive Management Employee Group be amended to reflect new <br />classification approved by Council in May 2025; and <br />WHEREAS, staff further recommends a revision to the Summary of Compensation <br />and Terms of Employment for the Executive Management Employee Group to update the <br />relocation assistance for certain Executive Management classifications and provide the <br />ability to bank holiday hours. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2. The Summary of Compensation and Terms of Employment for the <br />Executive Management Employee Group shall be amended as set forth in Exhibit A to <br />accurately reflect list of classifications to include new classification approved by City <br />Council in May 2025, revise relocation assistance for certain Executive Management <br />classifications, and provide the ability to bank holiday hours. <br />3.The City’s Classification and Salary Plan is hereby amended as listed in the <br />full salary plan attached as Exhibit B. <br />4.This resolution shall be effective upon the date of its adoption. <br />* * *
