ATTY/RESO.0124/CC RESO ACCEPTING THE DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 <br />REV: 12-05-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />RESOLUTION NO.______ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ACCEPTING THE DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES REPORT FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR 2024-25 AND MAKING FINDINGS AS REQUIRED BY THE <br />MITIGATION FEE ACT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Government Code section 66006 requires the City to make certain <br />information available to the public regarding development impact fees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Government Code section 66001(d) requires the City to make certain <br />findings regarding unexpended development impact fee revenues every five years; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed that certain report entitled “Development <br />Impact Fees Report For Fiscal Year 2024-25” (“Fees Report”), which contains the <br />information required by Government Code Section 66006 and findings regarding <br />unexpended development impact fee funds as required by Government Code section <br />66001(d); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Fees Report was made available to the public, and notice of the time <br />and place of this meeting was provided, pursuant to Government Code section 66006(b)(2); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Government Code section 66013(d) requires the City to make certain <br />information available to the public regarding its water and wastewater capacity and <br />connection fee accounts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Fees Report contains the information required by, and was made <br />available to the public in accordance with, Government Code section 66013(d); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed the Fees Report at the next regularly <br />scheduled public meeting, not less than 15 days after the Fees Report was made available <br />to the public. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby accepts the Fees Report, which is attached to the <br />Staff Report as Attachment A and is incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />2. The City Council hereby finds with respect to any unexpended development <br />impact fee funds, that the Fees Report identifies the purpose to which the fees are to be <br />put, demonstrates a reasonable relationship between the fee and the purpose for which <br />it is charged, identifies all sources and amounts of funding anticipated to complete <br />financing identified incomplete improvements, and designates the approximate dates on <br />which the funding is expected to be deposited into the appropriate account or fund. <br /> <br />8.A. - Page 7 of 55 <br />18
