City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org
STAFF REPORT
To the Honorable Mayor and City Council
From the City Manager
DATE: December 22, 2025
SUBJECT
Amendment No. 14 to the Sanitary Sewerage Treatment Capacity Rights and Services (Town of Woodside)
Agreement
SUMMARY
The Town of Woodside is requesting City Council approval of Amendment No. 14 to the existing Sanitary
Sewerage Treatment Capacity Rights and Services Agreement. The amendment would expand the Town
Center Sewer Assessment District (TCSAD) service area to include the property at 196 Albion Avenue.
TCSAD currently uses less than 50 percent of the 100,000 gallons per day wastewater treatment capacity
previously allocated by Redwood City.
The proposed parcel is expected to contribute approximately 270 gallons per day. Total TCSAD flows will
remain below the allocation. The Fair Oaks Sewer Maintenance District must also consent, as wastewater
passes through its system before contributing to Redwood City and ultimately to Silicon Valley Clean
Water (SVCW) for treatment.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt a resolution approving Amendment No. 14 to the Sanitary Sewerage Treatment Capacity Rights and
Services (Town of Woodside) Agreement.
STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE
Public Safety
8.O. - Page 1 of 16
704
