Parks Impact Fee – Pay a Parks Impact Fee for the net new dwelling units resulting from the proposed project, estimated at $3,627,261.60. Prior to final map approval for ownership projects. Public Art Fee – Art in Public Places Fee - The proposed project is over 50,000 square feet and must either provide on-site public art with a valuation of at least 1% of the construction value of the project or make a contribution to the City of its Art in Public Places Fund. The in-lieu fee must be equal to a minimum of 1% of the construction valuation, or if the public art is provided on-site and does not reach the minimum, the project must pay the difference between 1% of the construction valuation and the value of art provided on-site, consistent with Chapter 45 Section 45.090 of the Municipal Code. The applicant must either obtain an approved public art permit or pay the in-lieu fee prior to issuance of any building permit for the project. [SDR] [PARKS] 8.
