Obtain a tree permit for the removal of 20 trees. Tree permits can be issued when the building permit <br />issuance is imminent. Tree permits are also required for pruning of all ordinance-size trees as defined within the <br />City’s Tree Preservation Ordinance. [Section 35.3 of Municipal Code][SDR] <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance & <br />Ongoing <br />W4 Public Utility Easements. Submit site plans to the City for review and approval of maintenance and operations <br />accessibility. [Section 27A.11 of Municipal Code][SDR] <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance <br />W5 Water Meters. The project is limited to one “master ” water meter for domestic water service. Any metering for <br />individual units must be accomplished by private sub-meters within the property. For projects required to use Recycled <br />Water for dual plumbing, a separate water meter service for the food preparation area(s) is required in accordance <br />with the City’s Recycled Water Development Standard (Attachment-U). [SDR] <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance <br />W6 Recycled Water Facilities. Provide recycled water (purple pipe) facilities in accordance with Engineering Standards for <br />dual plumbing, irrigation, and other warranted uses per the Recycled Water Ordinance, Chapter 38. Services that are <br />to be supplied by recycled water (either at the time of project completion or at a future date) shall be designed to <br />properly function at the design pressure required by Engineering. Upon final determination by the City that recycled <br />water is available for the property, the Applicant shall connect the project to the recycled water system. Pipe material <br />for internally dual plumbed systems intended for the conveyance of recycled water shall be constructed of non-metallic <br />materials as allowed in the California Plumbing Code, and in accordance with the City’s Recycled Water Development <br />Standard (Attachment-U). [SDR] <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance <br />W7 Recycled Water Report. Enter into a Recycled Water Use Agreement and hire an engineer licensed in California and <br />experienced in the field of wastewater treatment to prepare a recycled water report for dual plumbed facilities, <br />pursuant to California Water Code section 13522.5 and in accordance with California Code of Regulations sections <br />60314 and 60323 (found within Title 22, Division 4, Chapter 3). Submit the first draft of the report and the signed <br />agreement to Engineering for routing to the Public Works Department. [SDR] <br />Prior to Building <br />Permit Issuance <br />W8 Cross-Connection Control Test. Submit an approved Recycled Water Report, including the cross-connection control <br />test method, confirming that all applicable plumbing systems passed a cross-connection control test, performed by a <br />Cross-Connection Control Specialist Certified through the CA-NV Section of the AWWA and observed by Public Works <br />staff.
