Department of California Highway Patrol and City of Redwood City Agreement #24C330002 Page 1 of 1 EXHIBIT B (Standard Agreement) BUDGET DETAIL AND PAYMENT PROVISIONS 1. INVOICING AND PAYMENT A. For services satisfactorily rendered, and upon receipt and approval of the invoice(s), the State agrees to compensate Contractor in accordance with the rates specified herein. B. Contractor agrees to submit semi-annually, one (1) original and one (1) copy of all invoices, clearly indicating the Agreement number to: Name: Kendra Charlesworth, Lieutenant Office: CHP Redwood City Area Office Address: 355 Convention Way Redwood City, CA 94063-1475 Invoice shall be billed to "California Highway Patrol' and not "CHP" C. Invoices not on pre-printed bill heads shall be signed by Contractor furnishing the service. 2. BUDGET CONTINGENCY CLAUSE A. It is mutually agreed that if the Budget Act of the current year and/or any subsequent years covered under this Agreement does not appropriate sufficient funds for the program, this Agreement shall be of no further force and effect. In this event, the State shall have no liability to pay any funds whatsoever to Contractor or to furnish any other considerations under this Agreement and Contractor shall not be obligated to perform any provisions of this Agreement. B. If funding for any fiscal year is reduced or deleted by the Budget Act for purposes of this program, the State shall have the option to either cancel this Agreement with no liability occurring to the State, or offer an Agreement amendment to Contractor to reflect the reduced amount. 3. PROMPT PAYMENT CLAUSE Payment will be made in accordance with, and within the time specified in, Government Code Chapter 4.5, commencing with Section 927. 4. RATE SCHEDULE CHP agrees to pay Contractor semi-annually, in arrears, up to twenty-four (24) hours per month, for use of the Redwood City Police Department weapons firing range facility at the following rates: REV: 03-10-25 LF Fiscal Year 24/25 $73.00 per hour Fiscal Year 25/26 $75.00 per hour ATFY/AGR.2025.040/Califomia Highway Patrol (CHP) (Range Agreement) (Page 7 of 18)
