ORDINANCE NO. P-288 <br />ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE <br />AGREEMENT WITH CLEAN HARBORS ENVIRONMENTAL <br />SERVICES, INC. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Public hearing having been duly noticed for, and held <br />on January 26, 2022, on the question of approval of the first amendment (the <br />"First Amendment") to the lease agreement dated April 13, 2011, as modified <br />(the "Lease Agreement"), and pursuant to the provisions of Section 48 the <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City, the Board of Port Commissioners of the City <br />of Redwood City (this "Board") does hereby approve that certain First <br />Amendment to Lease Agreement entitled "First Amendment to Lease Agreement <br />— Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc." by and between the City of <br />Redwood City, acting by and through its Board of Port Commissioners ("Port"), <br />and Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. ("Tenant"), which First <br />Amendment provides in part that the premises which are subject to the Lease <br />Agreement (the "Premises") are located at 695 Seaport Blvd., in the City of <br />Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, and which Premises <br />are generally described and depicted on Attachment "A," attached hereto. <br />The term of the First Amendment is Five (5) years (the "Extended Period"; <br />April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2026) with one (1) additional Five (5) year option to <br />extend the term of the Lease Agreement (the "Second Extended Period") under <br />the same terms and conditions except that the rent for the third extension shall <br />continue to increase annually by 4% on each yearly anniversary date. <br />Port <br />Ord P-288 - Clean Harbors. 1 <br />Form dated 01 04 22 FXS <br />01 12 22 Agenda <br />
