REV: 01-05-26 LR <br />B. Open-architecture system where all interfaces (hardware and software) conform <br />to national and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards. <br />C. All materials and equipment listed, labeled, or certified by a nationally recognized <br />testing laboratory to meet Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL) standards, where <br />test standards have been established. <br />1. Equipment and materials which are not covered by UL Standards may be <br />considered, provided equipment and material is listed, labeled, certified, or <br />otherwise determined to meet safety requirements of a nationally <br />recognized testing laboratory. <br />2. Equipment of a class for which no nationally recognized testing laboratory <br />accepts, certifies, lists, labels, or determines to be safe, will be considered <br />if inspected or tested in accordance with national industrial standards, such <br />as NEMA, or ANSI. Evidence of compliance includes certified test reports <br />and definitive product data. <br />D. Equipment housings, conduits, and junction boxes exposed to weather (any <br />location not in a conditioned environment) will meet or exceed NEMA 4X or IP65 <br />standards to be moisture-proof and provide sufficient protection so that the <br />components continue to function without moisture, dust, particle, heat, or cold- <br />related interruption. Components that do not meet NEMA 4X or IP65 standards <br />or better may be considered if implemented with supplemental environmental <br />controls to sufficiently protect equipment. <br />1.10 WARRANTY <br />A. General: Equipment warranty (100% parts and labor) for two (2) years from date <br />of Final Acceptance by Owner or Owner’s Representative. System maintained <br />and serviced against any and all malfunctions due to manufacturing or installation <br />defects at no cost to Owner during warranty period, including preventive <br />maintenance per manufacturer's recommendations or as necessary to keep <br />equipment in good working order. Software support provided during warranty <br />period to include all software upgrades at no additional cost to Owner. <br />1. Warranty period commences after Contractor has demonstrated <br />satisfactory performance of system as specified in the Acceptance Testing <br />Plan. <br />2. Maintain a log of all maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair work <br />performed under warranty and provide to Owner or Owner’s Representative <br />at end of warranty period. <br />B. Warranty response period: <br />1.
