REV: 01-09-26 MI <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />In consideration of the payment set forth below, Consultant shall provide the following <br />Services: <br />Description of Services Total Cost for Services <br />Five Workshops titled, Mastering Fire Service <br />Leadership – the Good, The Bad, and The Ugly to <br />include the following: <br />Five Eight-Hour Instructional Days scheduled for January <br />13, 14 & February 10, 11 & 12, 2026. <br />Two Workshop Instructors for 40 Hours. <br />Holdover days to accommodate shift scheduling. <br />All travel, per diem and lodging for two Instructors. <br />Student and Instructor guides, provided electronically. <br />Meyers-Briggs testing materials for up to 24 students. <br />$42,000 <br />The following are two workshop descriptions provided by the Consultant that will be <br />customized to fit the Fire Department’s needs: <br />Mastering Leadership – The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly <br />Consultant’s training will focus on challenges facing leadership personnel within fire <br />service and will utilize case studies that deal with all facets of leadership: Keys to real <br />world motivation, goal setting, cultural differences, effective communications, time <br />management, problem solving, conflict resolution, risk management, empowerment, <br />delegation, customer service, technology, succession planning, personal baggage and <br />many others. <br />In addition, students will participate in several hands-on exercises, including role play <br />sessions, one-on-one and group scenarios, practice actual conflict resolution exercises <br />and break down EEOC issues. Consultant training will also utilize an online course that <br />contains twelve (12) video role plays with lessons learned after each vignette. <br />Firefighter Bill of Rights and California Assembly Bill 220 <br />Consultant’s training will present Firefighter Bill of Rights (FBOR) issues and how <br />California Assembly Bill 220 is properly enforced, factoring in California Professional <br />Firefighters (CPF) doctrine to assist the students in assuring that member rights are not <br />violated. <br />Mastering Team Building for Maximum Results <br />Consultant training will include both Meyers-Briggs personality exercises as well as inter- <br />personal communications exercises. <br />ATTY/AGR.2025.288/Firefighter Inspiration Readiness & Education, LLC (Page 11 of 13)
