REV: 10-31-24 LR <br />Page 11 of 11 <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant will provide management coaching and supervisor training services as <br />follows: <br /> Consultant will lead a training retreat with the City’s senior engineer team. Consultant <br />will assist the team of supervisors (approximately six total individuals) in various skills, <br />including coaching their support staff, keeping a supervisor file, performance <br />evaluations, information flow with management, and related supervisory tasks and <br />skills. Consultant will assess and tailor the training to where the team is at right now <br />and where the Director would like to lead them. <br />Consultant work includes: <br />Pre-retreat logistical and agenda planning with the team leader and any <br />designated coordinator. <br />Pre-retreat anonymous questionnaire to participating staff. <br />Finalize agenda with staff feedback in mind; and conduct final preparations for <br />retreat. <br />Preparation of training modules, using a collaborative iterative process with you, <br />to focus on the most immediate needs and priorities. <br />Retreat itself: one 7-hour day; the retreat will be held onsite or off-site, at the <br />Director’s discretion. <br />Post-retreat debrief, with a written summary of key observations, take-away <br />messages, and suggestions for team development going forward. <br />Follow-up coaching regarding specific team member issues, if/as needed. <br />Consultant will be paid on a per hour basis at the hourly-rate of $240 per hour in <br />accordance with Section 6 (Compensation), with a total for the preparation and <br />conduct of a training event and related pre- and post-event work, not to exceed <br />$5,000. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.210/Sheryl Schaffner (Coaching and Engingeering Team Supervisor Training) (Page 11 of 11)
