Approve claims and checks from December 22, 2025 to January 12, 2026 and the usual <br />and necessary payments through January 12, 2026 (303) <br /> <br />9. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br /> 9.A. Introduction of an ordinance amending Chapter 8 of the Redwood City Municipal Code <br />regarding micromobility in Redwood City (301) <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />The following members of the public provided comments: <br />• Chris Gellrich <br />• Rebecca Ratcliff <br />• Taylor Pope <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Council discussion and action on this item is being continued to a future meeting. No <br />formal action was taken by the Council. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Waive the first reading and introduce an ordinance amending Chapter 8 of the Redwood <br />City Municipal Code by renaming Chapter 8 from “Micromobility Devices and <br />Operations” to “Electric Mobility Device, Non-Motorized Mobility Device, and Bicycle <br />Regulations”, repealing Articles I through III and replacing them with a new Article I, and <br />renumbering Article IV to Article II. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br /> <br />10. STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br /> 10.A. Introduce an amendment to Redwood City Municipal Code Chapter 32, Article <br />IV, Section 32.87 (Records to be Kept for a Period of Three Years) to give the <br />City’s Tax Administrator (Finance Director) the authority to issue
