CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Council Members Gee and Sturken provided comments on item 7B. <br /> <br />Motion and second, Chu and Sturken, to approve all items on the Consent Calendar, passed <br />6-0-1 by electronic vote, with Council Member Howard absent. <br /> <br /> 7.A. Agreement for Services with Ensight Technologies LLC for the replacement of the <br />parking access system for the 830 Jefferson Avenue and 750 Marshall Street garages <br /> (304) <br />Recommendation: <br />By motion: <br />1. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Master Agreement with Ensight <br />Technologies LLC. to provide the acquisition and installation of a Parking Access and <br />Revenue Control System (PARCS) for Marshall and Jefferson Garages for an amount of <br />$577,310; <br />2. Authorize the City Manager to purchase an annual extended warranty, hardware <br />maintenance, and software support contract with Ensight Technologies LLC., following <br />the initial contract term of 2 years after substantial completion, for up to five additional <br />years, for a total amount not to exceed $308,475; and <br />3. Authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, by up to 15 <br />percent of the total contract amount. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />Categorically Exempt - Class 1. Existing Facilities <br /> <br /> 7.B. Amend Redwood City Municipal Code Chapter 32, Article IV, Section 32.87 (Records to <br />be Kept for a Period of Three Years) to give the City’s Tax Administrator (Finance <br />Director) the authority to issue administrative subpoenas to compel compliance with <br />the City’s Uniform Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT). No changes to the existing tax <br />structure are proposed. (301) Ord. 2558 <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Waive second reading and adopt an ordinance amending Redwood City Municipal Code <br />Chapter 32, Article IV, Section 32.87 (Records to be Kept for a Period of Three Years) of <br />the Redwood City Municipal Code to address issuance of administrative subpoenas for <br />Uniform Transient Occupancy Tax. <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br /> 7.C.
