REGIONAL LOCATION <br />The Project Site is located in San Mateo County within the City of Redwood City and is <br />conveniently located just minutes from State Highways 82, 84, and 101. Surrounding communities <br />include Belmont, Emerald Hills, Atherton, and East Palo Alto (Figure 1: Regional Project <br />Location). <br />Figure 1: Regional Project Location <br />B. PROJECT SITE LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION <br />The Project Site is located at 920 Shasta Street and 122 Buckeye Street, Redwood City, CA 94063 <br />and is generally bordered by Shasta Street, Buckeye Street, Woodside Road and Pine Street. Only <br />one single-family home is visible from the street. The Project Site is two parcels currently <br />improved with a 135-unit self-storage facility and an existing three-bedroom single-family home <br />and a two-bedroom caretaker’s unit on a total of on 0.82 acres as shown in Figure 2: Project Site <br />Location and Figures 3-5: below.
