REV: 07-10-25 VR <br />18.Equal Employment Opportunity <br />In connection with the performance of this MOU, neither the City nor the County of San <br />Mateo will discriminate, against any employee or applicant for employment because of <br />race, religion, color, sex, physical or mental disability, age, sexual orientation, or national <br />origin. City and County shall comply with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 <br />which provides that no otherwise qualified handicapped individual shall, solely by reason <br />of a handicap, be excluded from participation or denied the performance of this MOU. <br />19.Entire Agreement <br />This MOU sets forth the entire agreement among the Parties and supersedes all prior <br />discussions whether written or oral. Any modifications, amendments or extensions must <br />be in writing, fully noticed, and approved by all Parties. <br />20.Counterparts <br />This MOU may be executed in any number of counterparts, each of which, when <br />executed and delivered, shall be deemed to be an original, and all of which, taken <br />together, shall be deemed to be one and the same instrument. <br />21.Electronic Signatures <br />The Parties agree that electronic signatures may be used in place of original signatures <br />on this MOU. Each party intends to be bound by the signatures on the electronic <br />document, is aware that the other party will rely on the electronic signatures, and hereby <br />waives any defenses to the enforcement of the terms of this MOU based on the use of <br />an electronic signature.
