Fire Prevention, Code Enforcement and Investigation Services <br /> <br />Fire prevention oversight and management will be provided by the <br />Redwood City Fire Marshal located at Fire Administration in Redwood City. The <br />fire prevention workload includes plan checking, permit management, fire code <br />enforcement, public education, and fire investigation services. <br /> <br />E. Emergency Preparedness Services <br /> <br />Emergency preparedness services will be provided by the Redwood City <br />Fire Department. The following are examples of services that will be provided: <br /> <br />• Provide staffing for the EOC during training, exercises and actual <br />EOC activations <br /> <br />• Provide annual CERT training courses open to San Carlos Residents <br /> <br />• Provide a liaison to coordinate between community CERT groups <br />and the Fire Department <br /> <br />• Develop and provide public education services <br /> <br />F. Training Services <br /> <br />Redwood City will provide training services to all Redwood City and San <br />Carlos Fire Department personnel.
