REV: 03-20-26 LF <br />CDBG AGREEMENT <br />Rebuilding Together Peninsula <br />Safe at Home <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into as of ___________________, 2026, <br />by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation <br />of the State of California (“City”) and Rebuilding Together Peninsula, a California nonprofit <br />corporation (“Subrecipient”) (collectively the “Parties”). <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />(“HUD”) Community Development Block Grant Program (“CDBG”), authorized pursuant <br />to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (P.L. 93-383), as <br />amended (the “Act”), provides the City with federal entitlement grant funds to finance a <br />continuum of activities ranging from public services to economic development and the <br />preservation and production of affordable housing; and <br />WHEREAS, Subrecipient provides certain services through projects, including the <br />project described in Exhibit “A” (“Program Objectives, Scope of Services & Quantitative <br />Goals”), attached hereto and made a part hereof; and <br />WHEREAS, Subrecipient has requested financial assistance from CDBG funds in <br />order to conduct the project described in Exhibit “A” for residents of the City during the <br />program year commencing July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026 (the “Program Year”). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Subrecipient the sum of Forty-Nine <br />Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars ($49,905) (the “Subaward”) for exclusive use by <br />Subrecipient during the Program Year commencing July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, <br />2026, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 3. <br />Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, the City’s obligation to <br />disburse funds under this Agreement is subject to and contingent upon the City’s receipt <br />of funds from, and/or appropriation of funds by the federal government. Subrecipient <br />acknowledges and agrees (i) the conditions applicable to CDBG funds may be modified <br />at any time by the federal government which may affect or cause discontinuance of such <br />funding; (iii) the payment of any work/services thereafter is contingent on the continued <br />availability of such funding. <br />2. FEDERAL AWARD INDENTIFICATION. In accordance with Title 2 CFR (Code of <br />Federal Regulations) Section 200.332 (Requirements for Pass-Through Entities), the <br />following notification is to designate the use of federal funds in this Subaward: <br />ATTY/AGR.2026.074/Rebuilding Together Peninsula (Safe at Home) (Page 1 of 17) <br />March 27
