REV: 03-20-26 LF CDBG AGREEMENT Rebuilding Together Peninsula Safe at Home THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into as of ___________________, 2026, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California (“City”) and Rebuilding Together Peninsula, a California nonprofit corporation (“Subrecipient”) (collectively the “Parties”). W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) Community Development Block Grant Program (“CDBG”), authorized pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (P.L. 93-383), as amended (the “Act”), provides the City with federal entitlement grant funds to finance a continuum of activities ranging from public services to economic development and the preservation and production of affordable housing; and WHEREAS, Subrecipient provides certain services through projects, including the project described in Exhibit “A” (“Program Objectives, Scope of Services & Quantitative Goals”), attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, Subrecipient has requested financial assistance from CDBG funds in order to conduct the project described in Exhibit “A” for residents of the City during the program year commencing July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026 (the “Program Year”). NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: 1. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. City will allocate to Subrecipient the sum of Forty-Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars ($49,905) (the “Subaward”) for exclusive use by Subrecipient during the Program Year commencing July 1, 2025, and ending June 30, 2026, solely for the purposes described in Paragraph 3. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, the City’s obligation to disburse funds under this Agreement is subject to and contingent upon the City’s receipt of funds from, and/or appropriation of funds by the federal government. Subrecipient acknowledges and agrees (i) the conditions applicable to CDBG funds may be modified at any time by the federal government which may affect or cause discontinuance of such funding; (iii) the payment of any work/services thereafter is contingent on the continued availability of such funding. 2. FEDERAL AWARD INDENTIFICATION.
