P a g e | 8Redwood City Police Department <br />2025 <br />Annual Military Equipment Use Report <br />Military Equipment Usage <br />SRT Team Activation- Warrant Service <br />March 13, 2025 <br />1500 Block Kavanaugh Drive, East Palo Alto <br />1100 Block East Hillsdale Boulevard, Foster City <br />Suspect: Hispanic Male, 21 years old <br />The Redwood City Police Department investigated an armed robbery which occurred in Redwood City <br />on 10/16/2024. Three juveniles were shot at by the suspect with a handgun, and their jewelry was <br />stolen from them. One juvenile suffered visible injuries from being struck in the face by the handgun. <br />Redwood City PD Detectives identified the suspect and the RCPD SRT team was tasked with serving the <br />warrant. The suspect associated to the warrant was taken into custody at his place of work located <br />1100 Block East Hillsdale Boulevard, Foster City due to his violent history. A high-risk vehicle stop was <br />conducted where the suspect was taken into custody. <br />Upon the suspect’s arrest, Redwood City PD SRT responded to his residence which he shared with <br />other suspects from the investigation, 1500 Block Kavanaugh Drive in East Palo Alto and a search <br />warrant was executed. <br />SRT Team deployed with: <br />M4/ MP5-9mm/5.56 (present not used) <br />40mm launcher (present not used) <br />NFD(Flash bang)- 2 used <br />Pepper ball gun (present not used) <br />HyperSpike (Used for announcements) <br />ARV (Used for cover) <br />9.A. - Page 21 of 197 <br />378
