Training requirements will be set by the SRT Commander or designee. <br />The training will include knowledge of the rules of the road and knowledge of <br />electronic/mechanical mechanisms on the vehicle, as well as tactical considerations. <br />Personnel who have been trained in the use of the Armored Rescue Vehicle and possess a <br />valid California Driver's License are authorized to drive the vehicle. The vehicle shall only be <br />driven in the performance of their duties.
