ATTY/RESO.0019/CC RESO 2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (CDBG) REV: 05-01-26 LF Page 2 of 2 requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”); and WHEREAS, a draft of the PY 2026 Annual Action Plan and a 30-day invitation for public comment were published prior to forwarding the PY 2026 Annual Action Plan to the City Council for approval; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of Section 104(a) of the Act, the City has followed a community participation plan as part of the process for determining how the grant funds herein referenced will be used (“Community Participation Plan”); and WHEREAS, on March 24, 2026, the Housing and Human Concerns Committee held a public hearing and made funding recommendations for CDBG funds; and WHEREAS, on May 11, 2026, the City Council held a public hearing as to all matters included in the staff report of the same date; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to approve the PY 2026 Annual Action Plan, and authorize the submission of an application for CDBG funds, including all documents, understandings and assurances connected therewith. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The PY 2026 Annual Action Plan for CDBG funding, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby approved. 2. The City Council does hereby certify that the City of Redwood City has followed its adopted Community Participation Plan pursuant to Section 104(a) of the Act. 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute and file an application for CDBG funding including all documents, understandings and assurances necessary or appropriate in connection therewith, and to provide such additional information as may be required for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. 4. This Resolution shall be effective upon the date of its adoption. * * *
