<br /> Annual Action Plan <br />2026 <br />5 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br />• Community Overcoming Relationship (CORA) – Emergency Shelter Program will serve 20 <br />individuals. <br />• Mental Health Association – Spring Street Shelter will serve 40 individuals. <br />• Samaritan House – Safe Harbor Homeless Shelter will serve 112individuals. <br />Goal 3 - Basic Human Needs Services: Funds will be used to support services and activities that address <br />basic human needs. <br />• Bay Area Legal Aid – Domestic Violence Legal Safety Net Project will serve 48 individuals. <br />• Rape Trauma Services – Sexual Abuse Services for Children and Youth will serve 85 individuals. <br />Goal 4 - Economic Development: Support entrepreneurship programs and businesses, targeting <br />businesses owned by minority populations. <br />• Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center - Creating Economic Opportunity and Mobility for Low- <br />Income Women and Men will serve 60 existing microenterprise owners/individuals interested in <br />developing a microenterprise. <br />• Upwards – Boost program will serve 12 existing microenterprise owners. <br />Goals 5 - Administration and Coordination: Fund the administration and oversight of the City’s CDBG <br />programs. This will include the coordination and enhancement of private/public partnerships to best <br />serve City residents. <br />• CDBG Administration <br />Goal 6 - Fair Housing Services: Support fair housing services for Redwood City residents and provide <br />information on housing discrimination. <br />• Project Sentinel – Fair Housing will serve 13 individuals. <br />3. Evaluation of past performance <br />The City is currently in the third year (PY2025) of its Five-Year Consolidated Plan that covers program <br />years 2023-2027. The projects funded under PY2025 are underway and the City will report their <br />accomplishments in the summer/fall of 2026. The five-year goals for the 2023-2027 Consolidated Plan <br />are largely based on the accomplishments from the previous Consolidated Plan (PY2018-PY2022). <br />In the 2023-2027 Consolidated Plan, the City established five priority areas and nine different goals. The <br />Consolidated Plan focused on improving affordable housing, homelessness, human services, public <br />facilities and economic development.
