The City has not yet received its CDBG allocation from HUD for Program Year (PY) 2026 (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027). Based on the City’s PY 2025 allocation, the City anticipates receiving $654,563 in CDBG plus an estimated $15,000 in CDBG program income, and $59,077 in unspent prior year CDBG funds. The Housing and Human Concerns Committee (HHCC) will be holding a public hearing to make funding recommendations for PY 2026 and those recommendations will be forwarded to the City Council for their final approval. The HHCC’s funding recommendations will be incorporated into the draft PY 2026 Annual Action Plan, the fourth year of the City’s Consolidated Plan for 2023-2027. The public is invited to attend the Housing and Human Concerns Committee Public Hearing to make comments.
