6.Agenda Items <br />6a. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Hearing and Funding <br />Deliberations for Program Year 2026-2027. <br />Action Requested or Needed: The Committee will open the public hearing and hear <br />comments from members of the public regarding funding for proposed CDBG programs <br />and activities. The Committee is expected to deliberate, and by majority vote, make <br />funding recommendations for approximately $728,640 in CDBG funds. The Committee’s <br />funding recommendations will also be incorporated into the draft Annual Action Plan for <br />Program Year (PY) 2026-2027. Included Attachment B is a memo on approving <br />contingency plans for CDBG funding recommendations for PY 2026 since award <br />allocations have not yet been announced. <br />6b.
