Closed session regarding anticipated litigation pursuant to California Government <br />Code Section 54956.9 (d)(4) <br /> <br />There was no public comment. <br /> <br />At 10:48 p.m., the City Council convened Closed Session to discuss the following: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION <br /> <br />Closed session regarding initiation of litigation pursuant to California Government Code <br />Section 54956.9(d)(4): 1 case. <br /> <br />City Attorney Veronica Ramirez reported the following action: <br /> <br />The City Council unanimously approved and authorized the City Manager to execute <br />a Settlement Agreement with Juva Retail, Inc. to resolve Juva’s outstanding cannabis <br />business tax liability. The motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />12.
