Attachment C <br />No- Fault Just Cause Terminations & Relocation Assistance Data <br />Landlords who terminate a tenancy for a no-fault just cause1 are required to submit a copy of the <br />notice of termination to the City. Since the TPO went into effect, the City has received six (6) notices <br />of termination for a no-fault just cause reason. The City does not collect copies of notices of <br />termination for at-fault just cause terminations2. <br /> <br />Of the six notices of terminations for no-fault, two tenants submitted a relocation assistance <br />application, and both of those tenants qualified as “Special Circumstances”, meaning they are <br />entitled to relocation assistance payments equal to four (4) months of Fair Market Rent3. <br /> <br /> <br />Project Sentinel Tenant and Landlord Counseling Service Program <br />During the third quarter (January – March 2026) of Fiscal Year 2025-2026, the program handled 67 <br />unduplicated calls from Redwood City residents and housing providers.
