<br /> Annual Action Plan <br />2026 <br />39 <br />OMB Control No: 2506-0117 (exp. 09/30/2021) <br />Description Project Sentinel provides comprehensive fair housing <br />services of proactive community outreach and education to <br />home seekers, in place residents and housing providers as <br />well as reactive complaint investigations seeking remedies <br />for victims of housing discrimination. This project is eligible <br />under 24 CFR 570.206 (c) the CDBG regulations. <br />Target Date 6/30/2027 <br />Estimate the <br />number and type of <br />families that will <br />benefit from the <br />proposed activities <br />The project will serve 13 low to moderate-income <br />individuals. <br />Location <br />Description <br />1615 Hudson Street, Suite A, Redwood City, CA 94061 <br />Planned Activities To combat illegal housing discrimination and ensure civil <br />rights protection, Project Sentinel provides comprehensive <br />fair housing services of complaint investigation, consultation, <br />information and referral, and community outreach and <br />education. Fair housing investigations that reveal evidence <br />of illegal discrimination are addressed through education, <br />conciliation, HUD or DFEH filings, or litigation. Information <br />and referral services link callers with the most appropriate <br />resources. <br />3 Project Name Bay Area Legal Aid - Domestic Violence Legal Safety Net <br />Project <br />Target Area CityWide <br />Goals Supported Basic Human Needs Services <br />Needs Addressed Sustain or Expand Human Services <br />Funding CDBG: $25,000 <br />Description Bay Area Legal Aid's Domestic Violence Legal Safety Net <br />project provides free, multi-lingual legal help to low-income <br />survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault so they can <br />escape the abuse and establish long-term safety and stability <br />for themselves and their children. This project is eligible <br />under 24 CFR 570.201 (e) the CDBG regulations.
