REV: 04-06-26 LF <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Contractor will provide the following additional services under “Preventative Monthly <br />Maintenance (Routine)” task of the Original Agreement at no additional cost. <br />(1)Change Default Passwords: Lighted Crosswalk do not remain configured with <br />manufacturer default passwords. Contractor will change credentials on the Effective Date <br />of this amendment, during installation and whenever devices are serviced. <br />(2)Requirements for Password Length: Passwords will be at least 16 characters in <br />length. Using passphrases (multiple words combined) is recommended. <br />(3)Use Unique Credentials: Passwords will be unique to each intersection or device <br />where supported. Reusing the same credentials across multiple locations will be avoided. <br />(4)Routine Security Check During Maintenance: When Contractor’s technicians <br />access a device for maintenance or configuration, they will: <br />•Confirm the password meets current requirements <br />•Check for any unexpected configuration changes <br />•Verify the device firmware is current where applicable <br />•Log the maintenance visit with the date, time, and technician name <br />(5)Access Logging and Reporting: Contractor will maintain a record of service visits <br />and report any suspicious or unauthorized changes observed during maintenance (for <br />example altered audio messages, configuration changes, or signs of tampering) to City <br />staff immediately. <br />(6)Manufacturer Security Guidance: Contractor will follow applicable security <br />guidance provided by the device manufacturer (e.g., Polara), including recommendations <br />related to credential management and firmware updates. <br />ATTY/AGR.2026/Amend.No.3/Cal-West Lighting and Signal Maintenance, Inc.
