Page 1 <br /> Grant Agreement <br /> <br />Sand Hill Foundation is pleased to award a grant to City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks <br />Community Center (hereafter referred to as "grantee") in the amount of $75,000 to be used for <br />emergency financial assistance and vital food support. The grant period will be December 1, <br />2025 to November 30, 2026. <br /> <br />The grantee agrees to the following : <br /> <br />• Grantee must complete a final report within 30 days after the end of the grant period. <br />Deadlines are stated in the online grants management portal. Reporting guidelines will <br />be emailed to the primary contact on your application and are available at <br />www.sandhillfoundation.org . Further updates in the form of newsletters, annual <br />reports, events, or meetings are also welcome throughout the grant period. <br /> <br />• The Grantee hereby verifies the Grantee’s public charity status under Sections 501(c)(3), <br />170(b)(1)(A), and 509(a) or 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended <br />(the “Code”), and agrees to notify the Foundation of any change in the Grantee’s status. <br />Should the Grantee’s public charity status change, the Grantee agrees to return any <br />unexpended funds to the Foundation. <br /> <br />• The Grantee confirms that this grant is not in any way earmarked to support or carry on <br />lobbying. The Grantee hereby reaffirms that the project’s current budget accurately <br />reflects Grantee’s intention to expend at least the amount of this grant on project non- <br />lobbying activities in Grantee’s related fiscal year(s). <br /> <br />• The Grantee shall not, under any circumstance, transfer, assign or encumber any portion <br />of the grant. Furthermore, the Grantee agrees that the grant funds will not be expended, <br />transferred, or used for any purpose or in any fashion that is prohibited by a n applicable <br />law of the United States or of any domestic or foreign jurisdiction. <br /> <br />• The Foundation may, at its expense and on reasonable notice to the Grantee, inspect, <br />audit, or copy the Grantee’s records pertaining to this grant. <br /> <br />• The Grantee may acknowledge the Foundation’s support of this project in any or all <br />announcements and written materials. Please list any such acknowledgements as “Sand <br />Hill Foundation.” <br /> <br />• The person signing this agreement on behalf of the Grantee organization represents and <br />warrants to the Foundation that they are an officer of their organization and has <br />requisite legal power and authority to execute this agreement on behalf of the <br />organization and bind the organization to obligations herein. <br /> <br />Docusign Envelope ID: D5B0BEFE-4861-8300-8267-B85679DEB987
