ATTY/RESO.0034/CC RESO GENERAL ELECTION – COUNTY SERVICES <br />REV: 06-18-26 VR <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />5. That the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors is requested to issue <br />instructions to the County Elections Official to take any and all steps necessary for the <br />holding of the consolidated election. <br /> <br />6. That the City of Redwood City recognizes that additional costs will be <br />incurred by the County of San Mateo by reason of this consolidation and agrees to <br />reimburse the County of San Mateo for any costs. <br /> <br />7. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City is hereby directed to file a <br />certified copy of this Resolution with the Board of Supervisors and the Elections Division <br />of the County of San Mateo. <br /> <br />8. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this <br />Resolution and enter it into the book of original Resolutions. <br /> <br />9. That the City Manager is authorized to execute that certain Agreement <br />entitled “Services Agreement for the Provisions of Election Services between the City of <br />Redwood City and the San Mateo County Chief Elections Officer & Assessor – County <br />Clerk – Recorder” (the “Services Agreement”) for the performance by the County Clerk of <br />the County of San Mateo of certain services pertaining to the Statewide General Election <br />to be held on November 3, 2026. Furthermore, the City Attorney and City Manager are <br />authorized to make adjustments to the Services Agreement in the event that changes are <br />beneficial or necessary. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />* * *
