10 of 11 <br />Recommendations <br />Pursuant to Elections Code Section 9215 take either of the following actions: <br />A.Adopt, without alteration,the Proposed Ordinance:​ <br />“Waive the first reading and introduce an ordinance repealing Chapter 42 (Tenant Protection <br />Ordinance) of the Redwood City Code and adopting a new Chapter 42 (Redwood City Fair <br />and Affordable Housing Ordinance) of the Redwood City Code” <br />OR <br />B. Adopt a resolution calling for an election to be consolidated with the General <br />Municipal Election and Statewide General Election on November 3, 2026, <br />and submitting to the voters at that election an initiative measure to amend the <br />Redwood City Code to impose additional rent control and just cause eviction limits
