(FLY) <br />$11,000 to Friends for Youth <br />$10,000 to HIP Housing <br />$20,000 to Immigration Institute of the Bay Area <br />$15,000 to Legal Aid Society of San Mateo <br />$10,000 to Nuestra Casa <br />$11,000 to One Life Counseling <br />$12,000 to Peninsula Family Service <br />$20,000 to Samaritan House <br />$10,000 to Service League of San Mateo County <br />$15,000 to Society of St. Vincent de Paul <br />$11,000 to Upward Scholars <br />The HHCC recommendations for funding along with a full list of applicants are contained in Attachment A <br />of this report. Attachment A also includes HSFA funding amounts received for FY 2025-2026. Attachment <br />B includes a brief description of each agency and their funding request. <br />HHCC members utilized the application criteria provided in Attachment C for their recommendations, <br />including considering whether the proposed project is vital for survival for priority populations. Members <br />also reviewed and considered the projects’ timeline, goals, collaborations, population served, outreach to <br />under-served populations, and other sources of revenue, staffing, and marketing. For additional <br />information the HSFA application is included as Attachment D. <br />HHCC received a total of $166,000 in requests and had $150,000 to distribute for HSFA funding. In addition <br />to HSFA the City also funds local agencies through federal CDBG/Home grants. <br />HHCC Work Plan <br />Staff is collaboratively working with HHCC as part of its FY 2025-2027 work plan to evaluate the HSFA <br />program criteria and process, and any recommended changes resulted from this process would be <br />incorporated into the upcoming Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for FY 2027-2028 program cycle. <br />EQUITY IMPACT STATEMENT <br />All City actions are assessed for impact.
