Bicycle Parking Required. The required number of bicycle parking spaces shall be determined as set <br />forth in Section 30.19 Bicycle Parking. the underlying zoning district as provided in Sections 53.6, <br />54.6, and 55.8 of the Zoning Code. <br />D. Live/Work Parking Spaces Required. For any development located in a mixed-use district, parking <br />spaces for live/work units shall be required as follows: <br />1. Resident Parking. One (1) space per live/work unit. <br />2. Client Parking. One (1) space per one thousand (1,000) square feet of nonresidential floor area. <br />3. Existing Building Exception. The review authority may reduce the parking requirement for the <br />reuse of existing buildings with limited parking. <br />E. Marina Parking Spaces Required. A parking study shall be submitted that demonstrates how parking <br />demand will be met with the proposed supply. This study is subject to review and approval of the <br />Director. <br />F. Shared-Use Parking on Multiple Sites. Sites with multiple uses having different peak demand times <br />may share parking. A parking study shall be submitted that demonstrates how parking demand will <br />be met with a shared parking arrangement. This study is subject to review and approval of the review <br />authority. <br />G. Designated Parking for Low-Emitting and Carpool Vehicles. Designated parking shall be provided <br />for any combination of low-emitting, fuel-efficient, electric and carpool/vanpool vehicles, as <br />indicated in the table below. The following characters shall be painted on the parking surface, or <br />equivalent signage shall be provided at each such space: CLEAN AIR VEHICLE. If pavement painting <br />is provided, it shall be visible when a vehicle is parked in the space. <br /> <br />30.5 - Required Number of Parking Spaces—Outside of the P-Downtown (Downtown <br />Precise Plan) District Downtown Parking Zone and Mixed-Use Zoning Districts. <br />In all districts in connection with every use of property and for each building site outside of the P- <br />Downtown (Downtown Precise Plan) District Downtown Parking Zone and Mixed-Use Zoning Districts, <br />there shall be provided off-street parking spaces for vehicles according to the following schedule, except <br />as provided in district regulations: <br />(Wherever square feet of floor area is indicated, it shall mean gross square footage.) <br />A. Residential Uses. <br /> 1. Single-Family Dwellings. Two (2) spaces per unit which may be covered or uncovered. The spaces <br />shall be located on a paved area and may be located in any setback. Tandem configurations <br />for multiple parking spaces associated with an individual unit are permitted. <br />2. SB 9 Project. One (1) off-street parking space per unit is required. Either covered or uncovered <br />parking spaces may be provided. Uncovered parking is subject to size requirements in <br />Subsection 30.6.A of the Zoning Code. Covered parking is subject to minimum size <br />requirements in Section 30.6.B and subject to zoning district setbacks.
