Repeated violations of this Section 31.3 may result in the suspension or revocation of <br />short-term rental licenses. <br />H. Amnesty Period for Short-Term Rentals. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, short-term <br />rentals operating on or before the enactment of this Section shall be considered existing, <br />unpermitted uses. An amnesty period of one (1) year after the effective date of the ordinance <br />from which this Section is derived is being offered to allow these existing, unpermitted uses to be <br />legalized by conforming to the requirements of this Section, including compliance with operating <br />standards, registration, and recordkeeping obligations. Transient Occupancy Tax payments <br />continue to be required at all times for short-term rentals and must be collected and paid during <br />the amnesty period. Applications to bring an existing, unpermitted short-term rental use into <br />compliance shall be made on or before one (1) year after the effective date of the ordinance from <br />which this Section is derived. Existing short-term rental uses that do not conform to the <br />requirements of this Section shall cease operation within one year of the effective date of the <br />ordinance from which this section is derived and shall be prohibited from resuming unless and <br />until the use conforms to the requirements of this Section. <br />H. Hosting Platform Reporting Requirements. Hosting platforms shall submit reports to the City on a <br />quarterly basis. Reports shall be submitted electronically in excel format, or another specified in <br />administrative guidelines, and shall include the following data. <br />1. Physical address of each short-term rental, including 9-digit ZIP code. <br />2. Parcel number, unit number, or web URL of unit posting if requested. <br />3. License number associated with each short-term rental. <br />4. Gross receipts and TOT collected/remitted. <br /> <br />31.4 - Live/Work Units. <br />A. Purpose. The purpose of this section is to: <br />1. Provide standards for live/work uses, including the reuse of existing buildings to <br />accommodate live/work uses. <br />2. Promote a mix of housing options by allowing business operators to live in the same building <br />that contains the commercial activity, particularly for artists, small business owners, and <br />craftsman industries. <br />3. Allow combined residential uses with commercial or light industrial uses in the same building <br />space, generally with the resident using the combined or adjacent workspace for his or her <br />business. Typical uses include artist lofts, studio spaces, small offices, and similar low-intensity <br />uses, either in new developments or as adaptive reuse of existing structures. <br />4.
