Public Hearing on Redwood City's 2025 update for the Urban Water <br />Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan (802) Reso 16422 <br /> Reso 16423 <br /> <br />Interim Assistant Public Works Director Justin Chapel gave a presentation. <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />There was no public comment. <br /> <br />Mayor Martínez Saballos closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Hold a Public Hearing on the 2025 update to the City's Urban Water <br />Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan; <br />2. Adopt a resolution adopting Redwood City's 2025 Urban Water Management <br />Plan and authorizing the Public Works Services Director to compile and submit <br />the 2025 Urban Water Management Plan to the State of California Department <br />of Water Resources prior to July 1, 2026; and <br />3. Adopt a resolution adopting Redwood City's updated Water Shortage <br />Contingency Plan and Water Conservation Program and authorizing the Public <br />Works Services Director to compile and submit the updated Water Shortage <br />Contingency Plan as part of the City’s 2025 Urban Water Management Plan to <br />the State of California Department of Water Resources prior to July 1, 2026. <br /> <br />Motion and second, Gee and Vice Mayor Eakin to: <br />1. Hold a Public Hearing on the 2025 update to the City's Urban Water <br />Management Plan and Water Shortage Contingency Plan; <br />2. Adopt a resolution adopting Redwood City's 2025 Urban Water <br />Management Plan and authorizing the Public Works Services Director to <br />compile and submit the 2025 Urban Water Management Plan to the State of <br />California Department of Water Resources prior to July 1, 2026; and
