Receive the supplemental Elections Code Section 9212 Report on impacts of the <br />Proposed Ordinance (Attachment C); and <br />2. Pursuant to Elections Code Section 9215 take either of the following actions: <br />a. Adopt, without alteration, the Proposed Ordinance (Attachment A); or <br />b. Adopt a resolution calling for an election to be consolidated with the General <br />Municipal Election and Statewide General Election on November 3, 2026, and submitting <br />to the voters at that election an initiative measure to amend the Redwood City Code to <br />impose additional rent control and just cause eviction limits. (Attachment B) <br /> <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> <br />Motion and second, Eakin and Howard, to: <br />1. Receive the supplemental Elections Code Section 9212 Report on impacts of the <br />Proposed Ordinance (Attachment C); and <br />2. Pursuant to Elections Code Section 9215 adopt a resolution calling for an election to <br />be consolidated with the General Municipal Election and Statewide General Election <br />on November 3, 2026, and submitting to the voters at that election an initiative <br />measure to amend the Redwood City Code to impose additional rent control and just <br />cause eviction limits.
