Amendment Template Version May 2021 Page 1 <br />REV: 06-26-26 MI <br />AMENDMENT ONE TO AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br />THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, entered into this 1st day of July, 2026, by and <br />between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation in the County <br />of San Mateo, State of California (“City”), and the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, a political <br />subdivision of the State of California (“County”). City and County are sometimes hereinafter <br />collectively referred to as the “Parties”. <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 51300, et seq., County may <br />contract with City for the performance by County of City’s functions; and <br />WHEREAS, County’s Office of Labor Standards and Enforcement (“OLSE”) will <br />implement and enforce County’s local Minimum Wage Ordinance in its unincorporated areas; <br />and; <br />WHEREAS, City’s local Minimum Wage Ordinance, codified in Chapter 46 of the <br />Redwood City Municipal Code, authorizes the use of third parties to assist in implementing <br />and enforcing City’s Minimum Wage Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, on July 1, 2025, the parties entered into an Agreement in which County will <br />provide services to enforce City’s Minimum Wage Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement to extend the term through June <br />30, 2027, and increase the contract amount by $15,421 to a new not to exceed amount of <br />$30,421. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.Section 3 of the agreement is amended to read as follows: <br />3. Payments <br />In consideration of the services provided by County in accordance with all terms, <br />conditions, and specifications set forth in this Agreement, including but not limited to <br />Exhibit A, County will submit two invoices to City annually during the term of the <br />contract.
