<br />xv <br /> <br /> <br />Transient Occupancy Tax <br />Transient occupancy tax (TOT) is collected from visitors to Redwood City through a charge on hotel <br />accommodations. TOT revenue accounts for approximately 2.4 percent of total General Fund revenues. As travel, <br />particularly business travel, recovers from pandemic-era lows, TOT revenue in FY 2024-25 increased 9.6 percent <br />relative to FY 2023-24 from $4.6 million to $5.0 million.
