See Article 37 (Accessory Dwelling Units) As provided in Government <br />Code Sections 66310 – 66339.5, as amended from time to time. <br /> <br />Bicycle Parking <br />Long-Term. A locker, individually locked enclosure such as a bike room, or secure area <br />within a building that provides protection for each bicycle from theft, vandalism, and weather. <br />Long-term bicycle parking facilities typically accommodate bicycle storage for longer than two <br />hours, designed to withstand cutting and prying, and securely anchored to the ground. <br /> Short-Term. A stand, rack, or other device that enables the user to secure a bicycle by <br />locking the frame and one wheel of each bicycle parked therein. Short-term bicycle parking <br />facilities typically accommodate bicycle storage for under two hours. <br />Building Official. The Building Official of the City of Redwood City, or the designee of the Building <br />Official. <br />City Tax Administrator. The Finance Director of the City of Redwood City, or the designee of the <br />Finance Director. <br />Community Development Director. The Community Development Director of the City of Redwood <br />City, or the designee of the Community Development Director. <br />Fire Marshal. The Fire Marshal of the City of Redwood City, or the designee of the Fire Marshal. <br />Food Preparation. A use for the cooking, processing, packaging, and delivery of food products for <br />off-site consumption. Typical uses include but are not limited to commissary kitchens, catering services <br />and bakeries. Food preparation may be accessory to allowed restaurant uses. This use does not include <br />industrial-scale food processing and packaging plants. <br />Health/Fitness Club (land use). <br />Small. An indoor facility of five two thousand (5,000 2,000) square feet or less in size where <br />passive or active exercises and related activities are performed using minimal muscle-building <br />equipment or apparatus for the purpose of physical fitness, improved circulation or flexibility, and/or <br />weight control. Examples of uses include personal training, physical therapy, and yoga studios.
