REV: 07-06-26 VR <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Overview: Under this agreement, Consultant shall update the existing plans, <br />specifications, and engineers’ estimate for the Bridge Parkway Bridge Rehabilitation <br />Project to conform with current Caltrans Standards. <br />TASK 1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />Task 1.1. Project Management <br />Consultant will provide project management services for Tasks 2 and 3, coordinate with <br />City staff as needed, and prepare and submit monthly invoices. <br />TASK 2. 100% PS&E Review <br />Task 2.1 Review Plans, Specifications, & Cost Estimate <br />Consultant will review and revise the plans, special provisions, and cost estimate to <br />confirm that everything has been updated to 2025 Caltrans standards, including the <br />necessary edits to obtain Caltrans approval. Consultant will provide a Professional <br />Engineer’s stamp and signature on the plans and the seals page of the project manual. <br />TASK 3. BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT <br />Task 3.1. Bidding Support <br />During the bidding period, Consultant will provide bid support to City staff. This task shall <br />include attending a pre-bid meeting, interpreting plans and specifications, assisting with <br />preparing addenda if needed, and providing general consultation to City staff to obtain <br />bids. This is a budget estimate and will only be used as requested by City staff. <br />Task 3.2. Construction Support <br />After award of the construction contract, Consultant will continue providing services such <br />as reviewing contractor submittals, reviewing shop drawings, responding to Request for <br />Information (RFI), preparing and/or reviewing change orders, supporting the City on <br />contractor claims, and making other field observations, at the City staff’s request.
