RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- !i o. 1430 GRANTING VARIANCE TO SIGNATURE HOMES TO ALLOW IS-FOOT FRONT SETBACK ON LOTS 12 AND 13, BLOCK 1, WOOSTER, WHITTEN & MONTGOMERY SUBDIVISION WHEREAS, the BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS OF THE PLANNING COM- MISSION of the City of Redwood City, State of California, has submitted an application of SIGNATURE HOMES for a variance or adjustment with the recommendation that such application be granted, and WHEREAS, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY has considered said application for a variance or adjustment in accordance with Section No. 20 of Ordinance No. 600, being the zoning ordinance of the City of Redwood City, NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY hereby resolves as follows: 1. Said Council finds that the following conditions do exist: (a) There are exceptional or extraordinary cir- Icumstances which apply to the land, building, or use referred to in the application, which circumstances or conditions do not apply generally to land, buildings, or uses in the same district. I (b) That the granting of the application is neces- sary for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights of the petitioner. (c) That the granting of such application will not materially affect adversely neighboring property or the public welfare, the health or safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood. 2. The Council of Redwood City hereby grants said variance or adjustment to SIGNATURE HOMES to allow IS-foot setback on the front of Lots 12 and 13, Block 1, of Wooster, Whitten & Montgomery Subdivisi,on, subject to the condition that construction of the improvements proposed by the peti- - 1 -
