MONTILION <br />TO ALLOW 20-FOOT FRONT SETBACK AND <br />l5-FOOT REAR YARD ON LOT 14, BLOCK <br />18, KENSINGTON SQ,UARE <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, THE BOARD OF ADJUST~mNTS OF THE PLANNING <br />CON~ISSION OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, <br /> <br />has submitted the application of M. MONTILION for variance <br /> <br />or adjustment with the recommendation that such application <br /> <br />be granted, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA, has considered said application for vari- <br /> <br />ance or adjustment in accordance with Section 20 of Ordinance <br />No. 600, being the zoning ordinance of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY HEREBY <br />RESOLVES AS ]:i'OLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Said Council finds that the following conditions <br /> <br />do exist: <br /> <br />(a) There are exceptional or extraordinary cir- <br />cumstances or conditions which apply to the land, <br />building, or use referred to in the application, <br />which circumstances or conditions do not apply <br />generally to land, buildings, or uses in the same <br />district. <br /> <br />(b) That the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of sub- <br />stantial property rights of the petitioner. <br /> <br />(c) That the granting of such application will <br />not materially affect adversely neighboring property <br />or the public welfare; the health, or safety of per- <br />sons residing or working in the neighborhood. <br /> <br />2. Said Council hereby grants said adjustment or <br /> <br />variance to M. MONTILION to allow a 20-foot front setback <br /> <br />on the northerly portion of Lot l4, Block 18, Kensington <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
