Lorraine Rumley, representing the Board of Directors of the Latino Leadership Council of <br /> San Mateo County, reported on the International Latino Festival that took place last <br /> weekend. She thanked the Council for its support and thanked the sponsors and <br /> volunteers. In particular, she thanked Magda Gonzalez, Deputy City Manager, and the City <br /> Manager's staff for their hard work and dedication. <br /> John Wise, shared concerns with agenda item 6.1 B. He questioned a discrepancy in the <br /> price, how portable it would be for different sites, how it will be used, how often it might be <br /> used, under what emissions guidelines it may fall under, and its life cycle. He asked <br /> Council to review all these details. <br /> Mayor Foust asked Mr. Wise to share this information with the City Manager. Council <br /> Member Bain asked that this item be pulled and brought back with more information. Item <br /> 6.1 B was pulled and will return to Council at a future date. <br /> Vice Mayor Howard asked that the words "the traffic calming" be inserted into the draft <br /> meeting minutes, on item 6.1 A, (page 8 of the draft meeting minutes of October 26, 2009, <br /> under Council discussion). Council concurred with this addition. <br /> M/S Hartnett/Aguirre to approve the Consent Calendar with the change on the minutes of <br /> October 26, 2009. Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote with Council <br /> Member Ira absent. <br /> 6.1 Section - Motions <br /> A.
