The levee system
adjacent to the San Carlos Airport includes the portions south of the Redwood Shores
Development and within the City of Redwood City (northeast of the San Carlos Airport);
adjacent to the San Carlos Airport and within San Mateo County; and southwest of the San
Carlos Airport and within the City of San Carlos, California. In addition,
we have completed our Preliminary Geotechnical Evaluation of the Redwood Shores Levee
(Reference 1). We also prepared a letter summarizing our opinion regarding eventual
certification of the levees surrounding the Redwood Shores development in Redwood City,
California (Reference 2).
