MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br />April 15, 1996 <br /> <br />MO. 96-084 <br /> <br /> CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br /> Redwood City <br /> <br /> DATE: April 17, 1996 <br /> <br /> Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Council <br /> Fire Chief <br /> <br /> SUBJECT: Construction of a Temporary Fire Station (209) <br /> <br /> Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on April 15, 1996 <br /> <br /> Present:Councilmembers Buchan, Howard, La Berge, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Harmett <br /> <br /> Absent: Claire <br /> <br /> The following motion was made, carded and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> M/S: LEIPZIG/BUCHAN TO CONSTRUCT A TEMPORARY FIRE <br /> STATION AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE NOT TO EXCEED $75,000. <br /> <br /> Mayor Har~nett said he would be voting 'no' on this motion stating the <br /> Council needed more information on the Holly S~eet issue. He added that the <br /> operational costs from the start would be in excess of $300,000 more than what <br /> is currently being spent, and it was important to know where the money would <br /> come from to do it.
