<br />-',. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />----------- <br /> <br />NO. 1~30 <br /> <br />"-"1 ,"'" <br /> <br />ABANDONING PORrION OF lWADDUX DRIVE <br />AS A PUBLIC STR8ET IN THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY' as follows: <br /> <br />1. That that certain public easemen~being a portion <br /> <br />of Maddux Drive, Sterling Highlands No.4, Redwood City, San <br /> <br />Mateo County, California, which easement is hereinafter de- <br />scribed, has not been used for a period of five (5) consecu- <br /> <br />tive years immediately preceding the date of this resolution <br /> <br />and is not necessary for the purpose for which it was dedi- <br /> <br />cated or acquired, is hereby abandoned and vacated. Said <br /> <br />easement is described as follows: <br /> <br />The westerly 112.68 feet, more or less, of Maddux <br />Drive, as shown on that certain map entitled <br />"Sterling Highlands No.4, Redwood City, Cali- <br />fornian, recorded in Book 34 of Maps at pages 37 <br />and 38, Records of San Mateo County, California, <br />being more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 1, <br />Block 22, as shown on said Map of "Sterling High- <br />lands No.4, Redwood City, Californian, said corner <br />being also the intersection of the northwesterly <br />line of Maddux Drive with the southwesterly bound- <br />ary of said "Sterling Highlands No.4"; thence from <br />said point of beginning along said Northwesterly <br />line of Maddux Drive North 600 East 11.48 feet, <br />northerly and easterly on a curve to ~the right <br />tangent to a line which bears North 20 41' 01" <br />East, said curve having a radius of 50 feet, a <br />central angle of 960 57' 45ff, and an arc length <br />of 84.62 feet, easterly on a curve to the left <br />tangent to a line which bears South 800 21' 14" <br />East, said curve having a radius of 50 feet, a <br />central angle of 390 38' 46tf and an arc length of <br />34.60 feet; thence leaving said northwesterly line <br />South 300 East 54 feet to the southeasterly line of <br />said Maddux Drive; thence along said southeasterly <br />line southwesterly on a curve to the left tangent <br />to a line which bears South 600 West, said curve <br />having a radius of 50 feet, a central angle of <br />390 38' 46" and an arc length of 34.60 feet, south- <br />westerly and westerly on a curve to the right tangent <br /> <br />- 1 - <br />
