<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---....------- <br /> <br />N Sh '1601 <br /> <br />G&~NTING VARIANCE TO JOSEPHSCHOPP TO <br />ALLOW REDUCTION OF SIDE-YARD REQUIRE~ <br />NffiNTS TO ZERO FEET ON LOTS 1 AND 2, <br />BLOCK 12, ftKENSINGTON SQUAREft. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustments of the Planning Commission <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City, State of California, has submitted <br /> <br /> <br />the applica tion of JosephSiPhopp for variance or adjustment wi th <br /> <br />recownendation that such application be granted; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City has <br /> <br />considered said application for variance or adjustment in accord- <br /> <br />ance with Section 20 of Ordinance No. <br /> <br />" <br />'.000, being the Zoning Or- <br /> <br />dinance of the City of Redwood City; and, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREF10RE, the Council of Redwood City hereby resolves <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. Said Council hereby finds that the following conditions <br /> <br />exist: <br /> <br />(a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary circum- <br /> <br />stances which apply to the land, building or use referred to in <br /> <br />the application which circumstances or conditions do not generally <br /> <br />apply to land, buildings or uses in the same distx1ict. <br /> <br />(b) That the granting of the application is necessary <br /> <br />for the preservation and enjoyment of substantial property rights <br /> <br />of the petitioner. <br />(c) That the granting of such application will not <br />materially effect adversely neighboring property or the public <br /> <br />welfare, or the haalth or safety of persons residing or working <br /> <br />in the neighborhood. <br />2. Said Council hereby grants to JosephSmlOpp a variance <br /> <br />in the side-yard requirements on Lots I and 2, Block 12, I'Kensing- <br />ton Square", reducing the side-yard requirements, in fact actually <br />the rear yard on said lots, to zero teet subject to the condition <br /> <br />that construction of the improvements will be carried out in accord- <br /> <br />ance with plans heretofore submitted to the Planning Commission and <br /> <br />'- I - <br />
